The Community Sports Trust is dedicated to providing the community with various sports projects. We believe in the power of sports to bring people together, promote physical well-being, and foster a sense of belonging. Our aim is to create opportunities for individuals of all ages and abilities to engage in sports activities and reap the numerous benefits they offer. Through our programs, we strive to encourage active lifestyles, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and instill values such as discipline, respect, and fair play. By working closely with local schools, clubs, and organisations, we aim to make sports accessible to everyone. WHAT WE DO WITHIN THE COMMUNITY

FOOTBALL TALENT ID
We provide football sessions across the county to all ages and ability levels. The talented players are encouraged to progress into the Yeovil Town FC Performance Centre.
SCHOOL PROGRAMMES
PE delivery to After School Clubs. We plan and deliver quality multi sports sessions within schools. Our Academy staff can deliver a 4-week Football programme to your school! 
POST-16 EDUCATION
Our Post-16 education programme delivers a B-Tec Level 3 qualification in sports coaching & development. Also linked into the YTFC academy where the students will learn and gain valuable coaching hours. Most of the students begin their coaching journey here with us!
SOCCER SCHOOLS
Our Soccer Schools are in DEMAND! The staff plan, prepare and deliver fun activities and Football sessions throughout the school holidays.. We even have some YTFC first team player appearances, where the children can ask the players questions and get autographs!
FIT FOR LIFE
We provide fully funded workshops and courses for young people aged 15-17 thanks to the NCS. The Fit For Life programme provides opportunities within these age ranges and focuses on social action, employability and life skills.
SPORTS OVERSEA TOURS
Every summer we take a selected group of young people and families away on a football tour! Holland 2025....
A once in a life time experience for all young footballers! Feel like a professional for a week!


ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
Through initiatives such as workshops, and mentoring schemes, the trust provides a safe environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and respect. By offering alternative pathways to negative behaviours, we help build community cohesion, improve mental well-being, and empower participants to make positive life choices.



COACHING HQ
Our young coaches programme allows young coaches to begin their coaching journey shadowing some of our coaching sessions whilst completing their FA Playmaker and gaining funding to complete their Introduction to Coaching qualification (Level 1)

Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust is dedicated to making a positive impact in Somerset by providing various community projects. One of the key areas of focus for the trust is working closely with schools across the county.
